Halloween in July

Goblins are now running through the streets of my Halloween painting chanting "Trick or Treat" in tiny ghostly voices.

I'm still trying to beat the heat by painting a fall scene in July and it seems to be working.  We were actually able to open the windows last night and let in a cool breeze and today only topped out in the low 90's.

What are you doing to get your mind off the stiffling heat?

  1. This little Halloween Treat is just getting better!! Glad you are able to channel some "coolness" with your work. We've had a mild summer for East Texas (so far). ;) I'm just enjoying it as we go. blessings ~ tanna

  2. Love Halloween, and your little goblins running through. We've actually had a cool spell, at only 21degrees today, and down to 15 overnight, I'm very glad, since I've been using a lot of chlorine bleach in the basement, I can at least open the windows, and use a mask without melting.

  3. Today, a Canadian high moved in and it is so perfectly glorious. However, when it was hot, I soaked my feet daily and ran cool water over my wrists as Auntie told me to do. It did seem to work.

  4. Cute Painting! I'm staying inside creating during the main part of the day, then dragging the hose around watering in the evening!
