I recently felt inspired to paint our church in a Christmas setting. Christmas evening scenes are my favorite to paint. Snow is like putting frosting on a cake, and it’s entirely too much fun! Normally, I don’t paint the details until the end, but I couldn’t wait to paint the stained glass window details and the tiny Christmas wreaths. Just seeing that little touch of greenery in the windows made me so happy. I prayed over this painting each day that I worked on it, asking God to steady my hands and guide me through it.
Everyone in the in the small town of Orrick and the surrounding area are invited to the Candlelight Service at the local Christian Church. Members invite their friends and family for a night of worship and praise. Inside the sanctuary voices are lifted high as praise songs and hymns fill the air, as candles glow, and prayers are softly spoken. Meanwhile, snow gently falls outside from heaven above like a beautiful blanket of our Father’s love.
We are building a new church due to our growth. Therefore, if you purchase a print, the entire proceeds will go into our building fund.
