Chalk One Up

While decorating my house for fall I almost forgot to change my chalk boards. This was a quick and easy fix! Can you tell that food is on my mind?
For all of you who voted with my husband on leaving the bike rusty, did you notice the pink bike in the print in one of my previous posts? Pretty cute color for the garden don't you think? Anyone want to change their mind?

This week I got two awards from two great bloggers. Fannie gave me the award below and she's also a very creative blogger so check out her blog here.I got the award below from Fannie as well and then got it once again from Donna's Art. You'll definitely enjoy Donna's blog too so check these two ladies out and leave them a comment!
I'm supposed to pass these two awards on, but due to a very crazy schedule, I pass this on to all my favorite blogs in the sidebar. There are so many creative blogs to chose from that it's impossible for me to pick just 5.

  1. I love your chalkboards. We're thinking about putting one in the entry hall at the lake. We moved the cabinet that was in there and I'm thinking about taking a bench back, to put along the wall. I thought a big chalkboard would be great over the bench, for family & friends, to leave a message or whatever, when they're at the lake.

I understand about the pink bike. I still like rusty, but I think the pink would be great for your garden and the color has a special meaning for you.

  2. Congratulations on your awards! I love your chalkboards...they looks so fun!

I just purchased another print...one I saw on your sidebar and found on Etsy. I'm picking up my other one at the frame shop tomorrow. I'll post it on my blog this weekend so you'll have to drop by and check it out.

  3. Mmmmm, I love everything pumpkin! Your chalkboards are great.

Congrats on the awards, and thanks for mentioning me.

  4. Your chalk boards look great! Congrats on the awards Cathie...
    p.s. I voted for paint...or mosaic :-)

  5. Congratulations in your awards! You have a beautiful style!

  6. Hi Cathie :)

    Congratulations on your awards.

I love what you did with the chalkboards. I would love to do that somewhere, but alas with the house on the market, I'll have to wait. I hope you don't mind me putting this in my portfolio of great ideas for later :)

  7. In the words of Sally Fields "You really, Really Like Me!"
    Congrats Cathie.
    Have a great day.

  8. I love these! And I adore your new 'fall' blog page, so fun!

  9. I love your artwork and your chalkboards. Very fun! The new prints in the shop are wonderful!
Have a lovely day. You inspire me.
