A Snowball Fight on Salem Lane Folk Art Painting by Catherine Holman

I just finished this Christmas painting today and it will soon be off to its new home.  We were in the midst of having our hardwood floors removed on our main floor and new ones installed and this one had to sit on my table until all the banging was done.  It's been hard to concentrate with all the noise and dust.  That was bad timing on our part with Christmas coming up.  We have the tree up with no decorations on it and that's about all the decor I can manage for this year.  But, my floors look great and I'm relieved it's over!

Prints should be in my Etsy Store sometime tomorrow.  The link for my store is at the top.

"Snowball Fight on Salem Lane"

The Franklin children on Salem Lane arrived home from school, where Mom had just pulled some cookies out of the oven.  The delightful smell led them straight to the kitchen for a warm snack.  They finished their homework when they noticed it was getting dark and begged to go outside to work off some energy before dinner.  Little Johnny made snowballs for his sister, Jenny, to throw at George, while Linda safely hid behind the snowman. Ronnie decided to roll the base of another snowman while watching his dog, Charlie, all decked out in his new tartan plaid coat, sneak up on his brother.

Merry Christmas and God Bless!
